“Do not treat the asana as a physical exercise meant to keep the organs healthy. Treat the asana as if you are using them to adore and adorn the soul.”
My yogic journey started with Ashtanga Yoga at the Yoga Passage (back then it was "yoga in motion") in Calgary in 2000. Then I heard about Iyengar yoga in 2004, gave it a try, and got hooked.
I am currently in year #2 of my teacher training with the intention of going for the Introductory Level assessment in 2010.
I am open to explore the world of yoga with open eyes, yet I consider Iyengar's teachings as the back bone of my practice.
